Hello, new V551 user here "NowWow"...
I can hear pretty well on this phone (tried MANY and this was the best one from Cingular for hearing) but everytime I put this in a holster the buttons on the side keep changing volume of ring to soft (I need it LOUD). Any suggestions on how to stop the side buttons from changing the ring volume?

You can't lock it or disable the key but you can set it to where it will prompt for a password whenever the key is pressed.
Find a menu feature call application lock or something similiar in phone.

Thank you. However, it seems that the password that the Cingular store programmed is not the last four digits of my number nor is it "1234" or anything else I can figure out. How do I figure out the password to unlock or lock?
