I have my S700i for about a month now, the phone is great - the best picture quality I've ever seen.....1.3 mega pix with 260k color screen, it's like real digital cam....the video isn't that great but it isn't that bad either, u can only record a video for like 2 mins. (i think) only but that's ok at least u can still record video.
I guess for me, there's only 2 advantages that I'm concern with......first one and which is the most important (for me at least) is the Memory, the phone memory is pretty slow especially when you're transferring files through USB cable.....even when you're just doing anything on it you'll notice it.....transferring files through USB cable is freakin' slow - it takes like 3 hours to transfer a 4 MB mp3 while the Motorola A1000 only takes about 5-10 mins.
and secondly, those built-in features really annoys me....those built-in ringtones, wallpaper, message alert tones and some other stuff......I've made my own Message Alert Tone but I can't use it on that phone as a Message Alert Tone because the phone only allows you to choose one of the built-in Message Alert Tones, it doesn't allow you to set any other Tones/songs as the Message Alert.....which really sux because there's only like 6 choices and they're all stupid Alerts.
I dunno if there's anybody out there who knows how to set your own Message Alert on a SE S700i but I would really appreciate it if anybody can help me.

my brother bought a k700i and it's the same thing, i have no reason to lie.......S700i & k700i takes about that long (2-3hrs)to finish a 4MB mp3....Motorola A1000 only take about 10-15 mins....so for me to save time i use my brother's Motorola A1000 to transfer files from PC to his phone and then thru Bluetooth from his Motorola A1000 to my S700i, it's still alot faster that way.
but the phone is great, just some minor issue (if u call that a minor issue)

Hi there, sorry i wasn't meaning you was telling lies, i have just transfered a 4mb mp3 this min with my k700i, and its took about 2 minutes, even faster than your Motorola, so i find it very strange indeed why your model and your brothers is taking so long.

that is really weird.....could it be the phone's firmware?.....have you flashed your phone or did it come from another owner when you bought it, maybe it's been flashed before you got the phone cuz that's the only possibility that I could think of....I am totally confused.
