I have recently bought a Sitecom CN-500 - Bluetooth USB Adapter. I installed this and then the 3650 pc suite. The Bluetooth software detects my phone and they pair ok. But when i try to open a virtual serial port there is an error which says "The Bluetooth Serial Port connection failed: The remote device closed the connection" . Also for some reason there are no bluetooth com ports in the mrouter. There is just a irda connection (which i dont have anyway ).
Any help would be much apreciated

i bought my nokia 3650 and bought with it a bluetooth device. in the beggining i faced troubles making it to work then i reed more how to connect it and let the nokia 3650 connect to the pc. i noticed that its sooo easy to connect. the most important this is that ur bluetooth device ( what ever was it kind ) must have a support for SPP (Serial Port Profile)
and after this u can activate the spp and the nokia pc suit that came with the mobile will work perfectly... and also u can use the mobile as modem or fax. many options there and transfering ur pics and vedios.... u can buy any bluetooth device but the remeber that it must support SPP (Serial Port Profile)
thats all |

As I've seen, he uses SPP, but it still doesn't work, so I didn't post that quote

I get the same with my Widcomm bluetooth dongle, but if I just click ok the connections has worked fine anyway... PC suite works. I think the error pops up even when the connection did work... I had to fiddle with BT configuration to allow serial port connections I think, but it worked eventually.
