Ok, I need to install the mobile phone tools driver for the motorola v220; but the prompt screen to install the driver never pops up when I plug in my phone. It does make a beep sound like the phone is hooked up, but then it makes two short beep sounds and it doesn't load the driver installation file. So there is NO driver installed what-so-ever.

All I want to do is to install the v220 driver so I can get MPT to work. How can I do this manualy? I did a search for a tutorial but I found non.

Thank you for the help

You don't have to pay to get the driver, It's in your MPT just have to know how to get to it. Once you found your modem under device manager, right click to it's property--update driver choose ""specific location" and point it to your MPT folder. Sample C:\program\MPT\inf. Need to do live update to get your MPT to at least verson 3.11 if not 3.19e

Can you believe that!?! Someone's actually trying to sell a usb driver for the phone.

OK I found my modem under device manager and I selected the MPT directory to search for the driver yet It did not find it, I also downloaded the v220 USB driver and again it said it didn't find it. I have mpt v 3.11.

I don't have a clue what is going on, what can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks again

Run MPT with fone plug in if it's say can connect to foen, hit cancle and a generic sin fone will pop up, click on the menu icon of it the should be a drop down look for live up dated and take it up tp 3.19e.
now try to run it again it's should detected now , but if not do the same thing hit cancle. Click on menu icon choose F6(general setup)--customize--modem exchange--wizard will take it, follow it and say yes two time, then on the third time choose install drive or modem from list. Now on your left choose motorola GSM on your right scrow down or up and look for your driver modem V220. Now it should work . Good luck

I can't find "live update" but I did find update, (MENU>HELP>UDATE) but that took me to http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/ so I tried doing the general setup thing and It installed the Motorola phone and it looks like the phone and everything, but when I try to use the Multimedia center it just freezes and nothing works, it seems like its not receving any information from the phone. I checked if it was a bad cord but it isn't, it works fine w/ the digital camara and I checked if anything was pluged wrong and everything seems to be fine.

Is there another program that lets me extract the images from my phone to my computer? I just want that feature mainly!

Hey, the screen you sent me says it has a virus on it, so I don't want to open it, also its a .xls, shouldn't it be a image file like a jpeg or something like that?
