Is there any possible way or any considerable thing we could do or try to play .wav format on 6230 ??? i guess there should be as for 6600 they have made .mp3 format playing software.

6230 supports mp3 formate which is better than wav!!!

i know it plays mp3 but most of the fones in oman are multiplayers and can play mp3 n wav together n wav format ocupies much less space den mp3 n plus most of da guys down here have wav format stuff...sometimes people share stuff with dere bt n i be sitting there wit a dumb face dat say i cant take it. please if you konw of a way den help. i live in muscat, oman by da way

no 6230 doesnt support wav la...and wav is bigger than mp3!!!!!! much biger..i record songs from the radio line in to my computer using sound recorder, save one in wav and use sound recorder to convert to mp3. wav is abt 20+MB while mp3 is usually 5MB+ if using highest quality!!! lol..mp3 is compressed music! wav is not! Why u wana use wav for?

That's not really correct. There are compressed .wav-files.
Symbian OS phones use them.

There are many audio converters available for downloads. Just search Google and make sure you are not downloading spyware.
A long time ago, I used a free converter that can convert wav to mp3. Unfortunately, I have forgotten its name.
