I have a V600 from tmobile that has been giving me a few problems. After going through 2 exchanges all TM offered was a non bluetooth samsung model or a comparable bluetooth model if I was willing to cough up a few bucks and sign up for another year. Neither of these options is suitable mainly because I have purchased many bluetooth accessories which will essentially become worthless without a BT enabled phone and I do not believe that providing a merchantable unit should be a profit center for tmobile.
Since they refuse to refund my money for the phone and all the accessories or make a proper exchange and after reading about all the troubles with these phones I am going to simply sue them for the cost of the phones and accessories on a lack of merchantability claim and failure to substitute a like replacement.
I have no problems with motorola phones, I had a great one before I "upgradded" to the V600. However I have lost faith in the merchantability of the V600 and would not buy another.

If you do 2 exchanges and third comes up all within 90 days they offer you an alternate phone but you can always get a replacement V600, T-Mobile is still replacing that model of phone. And even if they aren't, as long as you are still within your 12 month warranty go to the manufacturer!

To get a decent signal you should remember to powercycle your phone daily. (turning it off and back on). Motorola has the worst phones in general, they tend to be defective, and T-Mobile's exchange program is terrible. I work for T-Mobile cust care, and while there are many people who are happy with their moto phones, those who need exchanges usually need multiple exchanges.
Nokia is the best manufacturer, hands down.
I just recommend avoiding a handset exchange with T-Mobile unless it is really a defect that you cannot live with.
