I've got the same problem. MPT works fine, but not Pk2MAN and PST (the phone isn't recognized). My OS is Win 98 SE.
Any idea?

I also have a simliar problem I installed the driver and it works with MPT. I go to Device manager and the drivers are not there and I used the p2kdrivers.zip to install it.
P2K man won't recognize my phone

Still not working. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers, but the only two drivers actually installed are USB modem device (under USB devices) and US modem device (under Modem).
Any suggestion?

Okay time to post my first main post lol
I am new, ive spent the past four days trolling through google sites and LOTS of forums.
i have downloaded lots of software relating to mobile phone modding.
I have read lots of content and found LOADS of links that dont work lol lots of downloads that arnt their any more, however i have successfully got the following working and installed after 4 hard days of searching.
MPT - newest download (Connecting to phone, all working well)
I just bought my V3 phone 4 days ago and the disc i got with the phone is a few versions before this one but i also got that working, i currently only have the newest one installed tho
PST 7.1.1 With the 6 Drivers Installed and working (Not connecting to phone tho)
PK2Man - Installed (not connecting to phone)
MIDway 2.8 Installed (not used or tested yet)
I assume if PST isnt connecting to my V3 phone that PK2man will not connect also.
I have read that you need PST to use PK2man, however PK2man runs indipendantly without PST, so my questions are :-
Can anyone help me connect my V3 to PST and PK2man?
Do you have to open PK2man with PST?
(although my knowledge of installing these two tools is better than zero, my knowlege of using these two application tools is Zero, saying that as soon as i get one thing working and connected i will be flying as ive come accross LOADS of posts which will guide me the rest of the way).
I was using XP without service pack1 ... i gave up on xp and created win 98SE fully updated on another hard drive and am using this operating system now in order to install PST successfully.
sorry if this is a long post :S i will post the questions again here :-
Can anyone help me connect my V3 to PST and PK2man?
Do you have to open PK2man with PST?
Many Many thanks in advance .....i look forward to being part of your community and am planning on providing help and links on my computer help site to various Mobile phone Forums and services
