HI,
I couldn’t enjoy the background picture that I downloaded recently. The bummer is that operator, time and date, right on the middle of the screen. Does somebody know how to minimize or move it form the screen?

I wish I could help ya there...Because I'd be helping myself as well, the text is all fine and great, but it does get in the way of the nice background image - If you or anyone else finds out how to change or disable the text, please post it here.

you can get rid of the provider logo by replacing the graphic with a blank one.

you could get rid of the t-mobile sign by getting a blank logo for the samsung s105. thats what i did and it also works on the v205. that kinda helps now we just have to figure out how to get rid of the time and date.

On S300M when you pick wallp. to put on screen it says "text in background yes-no", just pick NO  , and here if we want to get rid of provider logo, we just send an SMS  to provider

blank wallpaper and flashing are the only options to remove (or hide time/date). flashing is only way to remove time/date permanently (there's an option) is to flash with non-branded firmware. afterwards, you can select any wallpaper you want and not have to worry about time/date. t-mo thought that we would love to have t-mo pasted on the outside and inside our phones. the only thing good about the t-mo branded firmware is the phonebook shortcut. but i don't mind punching an extra button to get to the phonebook. s300/s200/v200/s100/etc. all have the option to remove time/date because t-mo never carried those models or at least put their crappy personalized firmware on it. that's why we flash with european/foreign spec firmwares.

i'm starting to hate t-mobile, their customer service does suck, like sakaze says. and they cut so much stuff out of their crappy firmware. i'm getting some bad reception where i live too. hmmmm.... if there was only some way to get out of this contract and switch providers.

We don`t have that problems because uor providers HT Cronet and VIP  do not play games with good phones, only with lower Nokia  or Siemens , like phones for kids and things like that...

i feel your pain dude. i've got 4 more months left on my contract. still wondering which other gsm provider to go with. the funny thing about reception in my area is that it's great everywhere except for 5 specific places. all of them except for one are at my friend's houses. hahahahaha.
