D500 seems to be stereo, no idea about 3220. Guess mono.

Sharp GX-30 has also stereo playback.

If you want to listen to mp3s alot, you should think about a phone with 2,5mm jack, so you could connect normal headphones with 3,5mm jacks with the help of an adapter.
Did this on my P800, was great!

damn! wanted to get a symbian phone with stereo mp3...and looks like nokia cant provide it at a reasonable cost....i only have the ngage option at my budget...i wont buy 6230 as screen(size and quality) is the most important deciding factor for me...same reason dont want p800(also production has stopped...may only get a second haand piece)...looks like i am stuck at e398 unless something new comes in near future.
Thanks icon_angel.gif

Why not the Siemens SX1?

Symbian OS 6.1, nice design (only on black icon_biggrin.gif), mp3 & radio in stereo, hot-swaping MMCs (very useful)

Only the keyboard layout is strange and only annoying when you are an extreme message writer (my 10-15 messages per month are easily written).

iread about this...it doesnt suit me.....i will have to wait for some newer nokias...is their any non-3G version of 6630(which hopefully may be cheaper)....or i may just wait for the prices to come down............and on extreme wait for samsung d720 smartphone(which i have no hope of ever being released)

I didn't called myself an extreme user.

I said, the keypad is annoying for extreme users. And gave myself as converse-example. The keypad doesn't bother me
