Looking at your list of handsets Samsung, I do believe you! lol! I am pretty basic about that kind of stuff, you know download a "few" ringtones and hey I am happy, just want service when I need it! I am not what you would consider a real "technical" kind of person! >)

I purchased a v330 from T-Mobile a couple days ago, and it is awesome! The buttons are perfectly spaced, the phone feels solid, and it has all the right features! Calls sound great even in areas with only 2 bars of reception.
My only concern is network coverage. Cingular has better coverage (in my area), but their customer service is horrific!

Hey everyone, I just joined this forum because I was looking around to see if anyone dislikes (hates) the new V330 as much as I do. The stores around here dont even sell it yet, but I was looking to exchange for a diff phone after I recently bought the V300 (which I dont like due to talk time....so far)....anyway, they got the V330 in AS I WAS AT THE STORE and accidentally sold it to me before they got an email saying not to or something....anyway......I am not at all liking it....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY....its always dropping my damned calls and I get even less talk time than I was with the V300, dont like the graphics, and the camera is not at all noticably better and the damned keypad does not make up for the lack of greatness. It was quite possibly one of the worst buys I ever made, a waste of 200 bucks! I just wanted to let everyone know, find something else, I swear! I might be back but I hardly ever have time for chatting online and stuff anymore, but DONT WASTE YOUR TIME EFFORT OR MONEY on the V300!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't had a dropped call. The phone seems great to me... but then I only paid 50 bucks each for a pair of 'em, and I was upgrading from an old Nokia that was at least 4 years old.
I signed up with some trepidation, because I know that T-mobile's network is not the best in my area...I've had Pac Bell/Cingular for 5 years and that's the network T-mobile uses here. I've been pleasantly surprised. I have found a couple of areas with limited service, but they are right where I expected them. I wonder if a v551 (which is exactly what this phone is, cosmetics aside) on the new Cingular/At&T network would be even better?

I updated from a cruddy old Nokia as well, but I feel I paid WAY more for this new cruddy phone .....the nokia was free and this was $200....very angered at the new Motorola V330 anyway, I'm thinking I'll probably go back to the Motorola V300 (I had it for under 2 weeks and exchanged it for the v330 but gave up the mail in rebate thingy-do). I really wish it was what I had hoped for in this phone, I really love my service provider though, Tmobile. Very very good co. can't say enough good things about the way they handle customers and business!

As you read in the Mobile Gazzette, the V330 is slated for release here anytime. It had actually been scheduled for the first or second week of April. I am not sure why the release has been delayed, but I do see that T-Mobile has pulled the V300 from thier phone choices online. This makes me think that they were not able to clear out the v300 as fast as they needed to, so they are allowing a week or two for store inventory overlap. The good news for those of us waiting for the v330 is that T-mobile will most likely just transfer the rest of the v300 inventory to the pay-as-you-go section. I imagine the v330 will be out either this week or next. T-mobile is not releasing any new info, but I had gotten the original release date of last week from a T-Mobile sales rep 3 weeks ago. Also, if you are in a contract, you can wait until the v330 starts popping up on ebay 2-3 weeks after it is released. There are bound to be a few people that don't like it's weight. It is going to be as heavy if not a little heavier than the v300, so someone will decide they don't like it and it will come out on ebay used for about the same price as with a contract. If you don't need the bluetooth, video or quad band features, I will be selling my v300, and I may be able to swap the guts so you can have the v330 case with the keyboard you prefer, because all I really want in built-in bluetooth.

Hey Charbaby:
I'll trade you v300 for v330. I have modded the v300 some. I can customize it for you, or I can reset it to factory. By modding, I mean internal and external. New face(I have 4 or 5), Booster antenna(really works), as well as software (or seem) editing. I have a custom startup and shutdown, as well as modded outside dispay message (Instead of T-Mobile when the phone is open, it says "Live Aloha!", and a few other mods. Post here if you are interested, I will check back in a day or two.

Don't know but your analyze of the situation could be correct! Only the "higher ups" know for sure.... That being said the V300 seems to be taking the "slow ride" outta here, sure wish it would speed up!!

Hey guys,
I just got my v330 last night. So far so good. Check with the stores, they do have them, but they 're not in the system. My sales rep got the ok to sell me two, but had to fill some type of manual paperwork out for now. Then he has to go back when they are released and put them in the system. Yahoo has a pic of it on the main page right now if you want to see it.
