That is exactly what I want to know. I've looked at the v600 off and on for a while now, but never commited because of some negative reviews on Amazon and my old phone still works fine.

Now I'm after the BlueTooth capability for my Dell Axim. It looks like the v600's price has come way down. Which is the better deal? icon_ermm.gif

Just got off the phone with a local Tmobile store. They had to send all of their V330's back for what they assumed to be software upgrades. Said it could be a week or two before they are ready to be sold again.

Spoke to the sales rep who sold me mine. He still has 50+ in his store. He said that if he had to send them back for a SW upgrade then he would have to replace mine (or send it back) when the new ones came back. His boss would have never let them go out if there was a problem cause i could bash it in a forum like this and since they aren't suppose to sell it yet. I could call T-mobile and complain and they would get in trouble for selling it early. The phones are at your t-mobile store. They are still waiting motorola to clean up paperwork and for the v600 to get close to sold out. I'm in the bay area (central valley). I called 5 stores and they all said that they have them but were told to wait for a couple of more days. You should call and tell them that your contract is up and all you want to know is are they in the store. If they say no tell them that you're getting ready to change to cingular for the v551 and if you knew that the V330 was in the store then you might wait a little longer. Then ask if you could come by just to look at one. Bet it works. By the way, the phone looks just like the v300 only the pad was change to look like the v551. Good Luck icon_ninja.gif

i spoke with a tmob rep today. she told me that they had originally been expecting the 330's on the 14th, but that the date has been pushed back (again) to "the end of this month."

i guess i'll be getting a v600 after all.

I don't have any first hand experience with the V600, but I've read online that its not any good.

I've been singing the praises of my new v330.....but should disclose that my wife's has developed a flickering across the bottom of the screen. I first noticed it while moving pic's from my phone to hers via bluetooth (sure beats paying the service provider!), so I thought it was rf interference. Shut off bluetooth. Nothing. Powered off phone and restarted it. Nothing. Basically, it varies from 1 line of pixels across the very bottom edge of the phone, up to about 1/4 inch of random pixelation.

I guess it's time to test the much vaunted T-mobile customer service. icon_biggrin.gif

Went to a Tmobile store. The same store that let me play with a V330 and said that they would be allowed to sell it soon. They sent all of their V330's back to...I think he said Pennsylvania, they had to be sent in by friday. Why would he let me play with the phone two weeks ago and not show me it now? Said that they all had to be flashed because of a problem with the camera. Now...he could be just feeding me bs...or it could be true.

I just spoke with a T-Mobile Rep. Manager Mike from the company ( not a store) this morning and he assured me that the V330 would be in at the end of this month and to even try calling to see if it's in next week in case it comes in early since they can't hold them. I'm anxious because it seems to have a lot of the features I'm looking for. I know it has the camera and video and bluetooth...bla bla bla, but does it have the speaker phone option?? They didn't specify whe I asked. All they said was that it was a combination of the V600 and the V300. Did either one of those feature the speaker phone option?
