I got an e-mail this morning from the manager in my T-Mobile store. Originally I purchased the v300 on Weds to exchange it for the new v330 that Friday (April 1) and it never came in. My v300's giving me problems and I keep contacting the store but they say the software has problems and they just got a memo to ship back all the phones the other day. When I went to T-Mobile to at least exchange the v300 for another, they said they don't even have that phone in the store.
I have heard more negatives about the v600 than the v300 so I don't know what to do. Is it for sure that the new v330 will be in at the end of this month or is this just another date being thrown out?

Dan,
Yes you can also record with it. I't's ok. My kids thinks it cool. For me i'm bored already. Also, i spoke to tmod tech about the phone being shipped backed. Thety didn't believe me that i had one. Then they asked me for the S/W, Flex & DSP versions. After that all he said was "your's ok". He then gave me a case number just in case if anything goes wrong. He never would tell me if any of them were called backed. If you ask me, i think there is a bad lot out there. My store still has them. I stopped by yesterday and made the rep show me his stock. GoodLuck

the v330 is just like the v551, it can record video and has bluetooth and has the same style keypad as the v551, just looks like the v300 on the outside

I've been waiting for the V330 now for about 3 weeks, and like ya'll keep being told "oh, just a few more days now until we get them back."
Anyways, I finally went in to the local store today and was told by the store manager that T-mobile is pulling the V330 and discontinuing the v600 because there were just to many problems to be fixed.
Anybody else hearing this??

I haven't heard that but that seems like it would be a huge problem for Tmobile.
The V600 has been planned to be phased out by the beginning of summer with the V635 anyway, but if they went two months without EITHER the v600 OR the v330, that would put them at a major competitive disadvantage to Cingular. It would leave them with no mid-range or high-end Motorola clamshell, while Cingular continues to strut around with the (relatively problem-free) V551 and the Razr, which has been dropping substantially in price.
If I were T-Mobile, I'd want to find some way to get the V330 to market, and soon!
