Hey everyone,

I am locked into a T-Mobile contract but desperately need to upgrade my phone. I don't like any of T-Mobile's phones right now, thought I would consider getting the V300 if it weren't for the ridiculous buttons that I know will give me fits.

Well, it looks like there is some good news: according to mobilegazette.com, Motorola has designed the V330, which (a) is just like a V500 and (b) is just like a V300 with a much better button layout, especially for T-Mobile USA.

I am dying to get my hands on this thing. Anyone know when it might be available through T-Mobile?

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. I am trying to do that but they say they have been having "temporary website issues" all day and won't accept the email. I'll keep trying.

so i finally got a message through to them, and they wrote back with a very generic boiler plate "it is not possible to say what phones we will be releasing" email. i wrote back and complained that as a longtime customer i deserve a bit more personalized of a response than that, and they wrote back saying they honestly don't know what's coming out apart from a new blackberry.

kinda frustrating!

Tmobile is not suppose to release any information about new handsets until they are a for SURE thing. They do have a new blackberry that is suppose to be coming out this month.

well, i think we are getting it. they have changed the packaging on the v300 leather case to say v300/v330 and when they do that they expect the phone to come out

I know we are gettin the nokia 3220, supposed to launch april 1st in some of the larger stores in the malls. Also the motorola v171 is on the list of phones we will be getting soon. The v330 could just end up being what the c350 was for t-mobile. use it as a warranty exchange for v300's, who knows what T-Mobile is gonna pick up from motorola, i know with the nokia's they are trying to gear more towards series 60 phones in the near future.
