^ Yea.. It should be moved icon_wink.gif

But anyway, it's a USB cable, right? It doesn't connect to the COM1/COM2 port, right? USB port is different from the COM1/COM2 port. Usually if I ever have to plug in anything to the USB port, it's plug and play, so it's automatically works. It's different for the COM1?COM2 port, or well for my computer it is.

You Can NOT just plug the usb cable into the usb port and connect to the phone, you will need to be using a program, LIKE I RECOMMENDED earlier you can download EASY GRPS for that phone and you should just be able to "plug and play" No special driver should be needed because the OEM cable which you are suppose to use for easy gprs and that model of phone is infact a USB cable.

You can download the program from www.samsung.com like i posted last time you posted this question.

You need Easy Studio II.

I brought mine here: http://stores.ebay.com/OEM-Wireless-Accessories-and-Phones_W0QQssPageN ameZl2QQtZkm

The kit include the Easy Studio driver.

Did you buy it from a 3rd party or did you buy it from Samsung?
I bought one from a 3rd party for cheap. I thought I would
save a lot of money. It didn't work.

I broke down and bought the Samsung kit. It works.
But even the Samsung kit is funky. The software
needs a lot of work. It makes you set serial port
settings even when connecting with USB. What's
with that? Who wrote that software? What's your
USB baud rate? (rhetorical question)

I end up selecting COM4, 115200 baud, "auto detect:" off
and play around a little and it finally recognizes
the phone.
