Hey Everyone.
I just installed a one gig MMC I bought on ebay for $74.00
It works great.
Are we really limited to 100 songs in the music folder.
I put 100 MP3's in the Music folder & another 100 in the Recordings folder.
It read 198. Can I put in more ?
Thanks.
I've had this phone for over a year.
I also bought an adapter so I now have it hooked up into my car kit.
one word on that. AWESOME !!
Peace. Out.
Mike. :alien:

Hey All.
Just an update. My TopRam 1GB seemed to work great at first.
What started happening is sometimes the phone can't search the card for the ringtone fast enough so when it rings I miss some calls.
Also it might reboot itself for no reason. I went back to the 256MB on the Nokia & it's OK again. I have ATT/Cingular service so swapping phones with the Sim card is very cool. I'm really only into the MP3 options so I picked up an Audiovox SMT5600 smartphone. I put in a 2 GB card last week & it's fine for the MP3's I have 505 tunes in it now! Only $45.00
The video is choppy. No biggie because I'm more into the music.
No other probs with tones or anything. Good Luck ...

make sure that you have sub-directories in your 'tones' folder on your MMC. That is usually the problem with searching through the filesystem for a particular tone.
Hope that helps. Make sure you have fewer than 99 tones per folder. the fewer, THE BETTER!
