How would I know if the MMC works? One thing, how can I delete back-ups?

Put it in and start the phone. If the phone shows everything correctly, it works.
I did test mine before buying thanks to the nice clerk.
Which backups?

Tnx!...
When using the backup and restore options on Extras,
when Im about to restore an specific folder(ie sms) that had
been backup(ed) before, the folder is
still at memory, trying to delete it appeared not allowed.
By the way,
Can I attach a camera on 3300?
How much does a 1GB MMC cost in USD?

Well, somehow it is good that the backup can't be deleted (isn't that big anyway).
I guess it can be deleted with a card reader.
Sorry, no camera support for the phone.
No idea about the price.

the delete way of delete problemed files;
- you backup your customed files on memory card and delete every thing.
- so, open extra > memory card > format..
- if its not working; you connct. phone pc on usb and right click phone icon in my comp. and format with "FAT" ..
.. probably its useful..

Connect the phone to your computer with the cable that came in the box, If you're using XP SP2 or greater, no sweat, but if you have an older install with no updates or some other OS, install the Nokia Audio Manager software. (Available from the support downloads on nokia.com).
Once you're connected, go to "My Computer", you'll see a new drive there, it says "Nokia Drive N:" on my coputer. Double click your way into the drive, You'll see a folder called "Backups". Go into the folder and delete whatever you see there.
No sweat, you'll never see those backup files again.
Kaydeeyoh!
