i already managed to get other gif's on my cell. Why wont this one work?
http://users.pandora.be/Scampi/wiggel1.gif
It isn't a gif especially for cell's but that shouldn't be the problem, or is it?
i adjusted the resolution: max: 128x97
are there other restrictions for gif's?
the picture doesn't even show up on my pc-screen, (normally it does).

It also depends on the phone. Certain phones can handle bigger file sizes. My phone only accepts images 30 kb and lower... But then again I don't have much memory on my phone
First try uploading another GIF of the same size on your phone. If it doesn't work, experiment with other file sizes... That's what I did and how I came up with the conclusion that I have to find/make images 30 kb or lower.
BTW, wierd picture..

here's the gif I made when I found out the limitations of the v200.....
Now I own a e710 which is is for the most part a "much better" v200. So in turn I still have the same limits as I had before. 32Kb 25 frames.

the picture is 16 frames long.
i already managed to see the picture (moving) in easygprs, but when i click on the "send" button, a messagebox shows up: "picture not send".
How can i optimize the gif to less then 30 or 40 kb?
I have imageready, but even with 32 selective palette the pic is: 80kb
I have the samsung, S300 does anyone know how big the picturen may be?

Hmm... I haven't used imageready in such a long time.. isn't there a way that you can optimize it any more? The graphic that you made and wanted to upload. notice that it's a real image... When I upload animations to my phone, there is a size limit. Not to mention that the animations that I've uploaded are cartoon-like or 3-d like, not real-life or anything. You're bound to have a bigger file because of more color... Isn't there a way that you can change the optimization? Like make it more optimized when you save it? There should be something that you can move so that there's either more or less colors used. I vaguely remember an option like that.. but then again I used to have adobe photoshop and imageready cs...

yeah , I tried that too but I could only get the size down to around 60Kb and that was at 32 colors. I don't understand what the gifs problem is...
