Hello everyone
Don't suppose you have a PCB093LBE USB cable driver for E710 do you?, or even a link, I can't find one anywhere.
Thanks

Strange.. for my phone, although it's not an E710 series, I never had to d/l a USB cable driver. O_o
What is this driver that everyone is speaking of? All I had to do was d/l easy GPRS, install it, restart my computer, plug in the DataLink Cable and then start easyGPRS.

your usb cable probably came with software already. so when you installed the app, it probably installed the usb driver in the background. as for the e710 usb driver, tried samsung.co.uk site yet?

i've checked the samsung.com and samsung.co.uk site and there's no listing regarding a PCB903LBE usb cable, only serial.
http://uk.samsungmobile.com/mobile_phone/ap_vw_01.jsp?model_cd=5002010
i'm starting to wonder if these are actual oem cables or somebody marketing them as oem and giving consumers the 'shaft'?
anyways, where did you get the cable from?
i found a link for a usb driver for data cable on mobileaction.com. it might not work but it wouldn't hurt to try. here it is:

Hi,
I Bought It Off Ebay - OEM Version, I bought a new cable and that works fine,
Discovered that the Compatible for "E710" was a Typo -
Got My Money back, and got to keep the old cable. Apparently its for the E715
Though Iv'e discovered that when the phone beeps when you plug the cable in, it's not compatible.
Thank you For all your help
I'm no longer but
Something has to be done about this shafting, iv'e read a lot of posts where people were having the same problem as me - but no answers.

glad to see that you got it working now!
so if the cable is wrong, it'll beep when you plug it in? i have the original samsung serial cable for e715/v200/s200/s300 and they all beep when i plug in. the cable uploads and flashes just fine. i think maybe it's the way the cable for the e715 is, i guess. who knows?

Actually no. I probably failed to mention the fact that I just borrowed my friend's usb cable. He just handed it to me, with nothing else. No software, whatsoever. All he told me was to d/l EasyGPRS. That's all.

the beep tells you that the phone is connected.
PCB093LBE is compatible with the e710.
