Has anyone else heard about the Ringback tones being offered by verizon. If not, it's when someone calls you instead of them hearing the regular ringing, they hear a song playing while they wait for you to answer the phone. You can even put different songs to different friends. So if one likes rock, you can make it so a rock song plays, same thing goes for any other music genre. theres only one thing. I live in Maryland and the ringback service is not yet available in my area , if anyone knows how i can bypass this obstacle and get the ringback tones to work for my phone{MOTO V265} please let me know.............. Thanxs

No it hasn't, verizon just came out with it. I know you could put a song in replace of your answering machine message but i never knew that you could have a song prior to the answering machine coming on.
Oh yeah. i don't know why i posted it twice, must not have been paying attention. Why, is it bothering u that much

How do you go about setting this new ringing option for your phone? I would love to use it.
Thank you.

u have to pay for it, and go to the berzon wireless store or the website and its like 3 or 4 bucks a month (personally i think its dumb and i wudndt do it because i heard it before and the music doesnt even play loud! and plus i wudnt pay for this because i usually pick my phone up real quik)
in case u really really want it then just go the website or the actual verizon store

My boss has it and the tones suck. They are very low in volume and the quality sucks. I hate calling people with this because you never know if there phone is off and u think its off because u think the answering machine answered but later find out its not. If theres someone you call 24/7 you get really annoyed with the ringtone.
Unless you want to piss people off. Dont get this!!
