Cool. I have jst today got my T300 and just joined this forum.
I'm having loads of fun loading up my phone with various cool midi files, but yeah, space was getting used up.
So anyway, I read this post and immediatley got scared.
But, after bucking up enough courage I went ahead and did the process.
On my first go (13 secs), I only seemed to free 3 quarters of the Pictures and thats it. But then I did an additional 10 second reset which resulted in deleting all the standard sounds (amazingly kept my new installed midis), 3 games, all gay themes gone and it left only two images in the Picture section. The Orange logo still pops up at start tho.
Before I did this I had 235kb free
and now?......
... that would be 475kb free, Bob. Thank you and goodnight.
[cue credits & cheezy music]
...Thanks for the tip
Jon

Also I found I could delete things by going into My Sounds, clicking on a sound, scroll to bottom of menu to memory status and then click on the section I want to free up. Selecting individual items to delete.
I was able to delete my Orange background pic this way where doing the reset failed.

I´v tried this trik and what i can say to u all is that u r only hidding the pre_definned icons, sounds pictures etc. each time u make a full reset they will apear again so this means that they have to be somewere in the program of the phone the fact that u don´t see them dosen,t mean that they where removed from your phone.(experience: try and make the same in t68i the phone will only charge 13 pre definned images only). As for secondary effects the phone sometimes freezes and shuts down but if u perform a total reset it all be bac to normal. at least this is mi point of view and what i´v experienced with my t300.

I have a T-Mobile T300 and it took away everything on my phone except an my event entry. I had to do it 3 times before I got it 2 work. But my phone works fine without extra unneeded graphics or that T-Mobile crap.

just tryed it with my T300having 300k free space. did it twice at 13secs and it left me with 600k or so free! but then i decicded to do master reset because having just bought the phone, i dont have a data cable to download anything new onto it! so i just did the master reset again and let it complete but now i have 483k free space!

Hmm.. i don't really understand why to do this kind of reset?
When i got my phone it already had 650 Kb of free memory... And you guys say, that after a reset you have about 300-500 kb? I dont get it...
