Hi guys,
i have been reading ur statements and am surprised to see that all that u have T310 are getting only 110-150KB free. If u are going for the entire 12.5 seconds, that wont free the memory that much. Do it for 4-5 seconds and u will get 662KB free. I have 6 themes, 9 Polyphonic sounds, all teh free games at Sony site and still have 300KB free. icon_razz.gif icon_devil.gif

It's not a big difference, when comparing the amount of mine stuff with yours. If only that THPS4 could be erased... I don't want to try with less than 12 seconds, because that will be too much reinstalling.

I'm going to France tomorrow, so I probably won't be able to experiment too much... But I can make some backups on my 9110i and send them through the IR...

Hey guys thanks for the 13sec trick! It worked on my t310.
I now have 624 KB of space.

Before, I have 1086 KB of memory( I totalled all the memories devoted per application from games to music and came up with this number)

I guess the 13 sec trick merely hides all the pre-installed pics and games! But still, It's a fun trick!

Worked like a charm on my T68i!!!
Everything is gone excpet games (it's a good thing, I play them when really bored) freeing 691KB!!!

If only I could remove some games...

Thanks for the advice!

Okay, so maybe it has been mentioned earlier in this thread.. But, when you do the trick, and you get more space, can this be used for everything? Can you actually save more SMS and so on?

Yes you can store anything else on your phone then.
But the phonebook will not get more than 250

OK, thanks, so the phonebook wont hold more than 250 contacts, but is there a maximum number of SMS that you can hold?

I don't think you will be able to store more sms's than before.

Before I did the trick I could store like 64 or 65 saved sms's.
Afterwards, when the total free memory was more than the double, I still couldn't hold more than 65 or so sms's.

On the other hand, You will be able to store more of your mms messages since they're apparently included when you check the memory status of your phone!
