I just signed up with Cingular, since almost everyone I talk to has it. My plan includes 450 anytime minutes and 5,000 nights and weekend minutes. I normally use about 8,000-10,000 nights and weekend minutes which I thought would be fine, since it would be counted free in my unlimited mobile to mobile plan. I checked my minutues and it says I used 1000 nights&wknd minutes so I called Cingular asking if mobile to mobile minutes are included after 9pm. She said that any calls I make during nights&weekend go towards my 5,000 minutes. On their website it states that Mobile to Mobile is 24 hours a day, without using your package minutes. Don't you think this is unfair??

Well..... I agree with you, you try to make those M-2-M minutes work for you.... didn't really think about it because I have unlimited nights from 7 p.m. What stated is true and there is no mistake: calls after 9 p.m. should be as nights and weekends minutes....
good luck fighting with Cingular (wouldn't go for 'em)....ever!!!

I am having the same problem with Cingular... They are trying to bill me for cingular to cingular minutes used! I have tried handling this with Cingular and all they are willing to do is give me a credit of 50% of the bill; this is unacceptable. They advertise that cingular to cingular is free nationwide. I have filed a complaint with the State of Florida, Better Business Bureau and I am filing a complaint with the FCC. And if it comes down to it than I will pay the early termination fee and leave Cingular (although I will not pay the balance due)!

well, all i have to say is that all of you are illiterate, lazy, and willing to sign a contract without ever asking what the terms are.
it states CLEAR AS DAY in the contract that the order minutes are used in is:
1) night/weekend
2) M2M
3) anytime
4) rollover
if you cant understand that, or cant be bothered to read the damn contract, then you deserve nothing but huge bill that you have to pay.
and there should be a 20.00 fee each time you call in to customer serivce to complain about it.

My bill was over $600.00 because they charged me for m2m minutes. Obviously they know that they are in the wrong if they have offered to take 50% off of the bill.
I have already received a response from the State and they are very interested in companys (especially large ones) that falsely advertise. I hope that this comes down to a class action suit so every can see what liars they are. About a month ago I started collecting all of the mailings that I get showing m2m is free nationwide.

i said to read your contract, not take a courtesy offer out of context and try to construe it to meaning that since you never bothered to read the terms and conditions of the service you agreed to, cingular must be wrong
read your contract. read your contract. read your contract. read your contract. read your conract. read your contract. read your contract. read your contract. read your contract. ....
and in case you didnt bother to read the whole post either, here it is again: read your contract!!!!!!!!!
