Leon, you are a very naughty boy! The phone, being a competition prize will apparently arrive unlocked with no sim and no ties to any network.
Glad you got the Irda thing sorted, have you got it working? Am toying with the idea of buying one but I think some of the laptops at work (not my Vaio though  ) have IR so I may just borrow one of those occasionally.
