Any of Verizon's Samsung digital phones are really good for Verizon's network. I have the Samsung SCH-A670 camera/video phone and I love it. This phone has a voice recognition feature that you don't have to train your voice for it to work. And it has great features. My Girlfriend has the new samsung VCast phone and she loves it. Even though I love my A670, i'm thinking about getting the VCAST phone. Don't worry about getting a tri-mode phone. I travel all the time, and I have never been off of Verizon's digital network, even in the deep rural areas of Virginia.

I i strongly believe that the 710 is a peice of garbage. I've seen far to many models with manufactuer defects. Relatively few for the 265. Beside the 710 haveing to many defects I think that the features that you are paying for are not worth the money. if you really want bluetoothe headset that bad just get an adapter and use that. The 710 has a dingy screen, the camera shouldn't be called a 1.2 and the outside screen you can't modify. On top of that the motorola menu style is counter intuitive and they need to completely redesign it. I do somewhat like the 265 especially for the current price of 29.99 after mail in rebate.
I agree with the last post in that samsung makes a better phone for verizon. The v-cast samsung phone is amazing and I will be purchasing it in the near future myself.

I have the v265 also and I would return my phone in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact im in the proccess of finding a new phone now after only about 3 months with this phone. It's no doubt one of the best looking phones i have ever seen but the sound quality is horrible{ unless it's on speaker phone} and the camera phone picture quality is terrible too. {the pictures are very blurry and dark} . So if your looking for something to hold you over unill u get something better, go ahead & get it. but if you want something that's gonna last choose something else. I would suggest not choosing a motorola phone

Try the LG 6100 instead of the 265 or 710, The speaker phone is nice, the screen is WONDERFULL and the driving mode/voice commands are awesome!

I have tried and tried to find some kind of driver or something that will get my computer to recognize my phone. When I hook up my phone to the computer with the usb cable, it keeps coming up "found nex hardware wizard." It says that I need software or a driver to connect to my computer. What do I need to do? Is there somewhere I can go to get the software or do I have to actually have to fork out the money and buy something...? Can anyone help me??? Thanks, Ratmuscle
