You need a data cable to enable java app loader first.

i have just had a test and here are the results:
1. i used p2ktools to TURN OFF the java application loader in my phone (now it is disabled, checked in PST-Kjava)
2. i now am unable to use Midway due to not being able to set the JAL in my phone.... so cable is now out of the question.
so far so good
3. i goto the file containing my .jar & .jad files (games/apps) and right click the .jar file and select 'send to>bluetooth
4. now my pc list the paired devices and i choose my phone (making sure the bluetooth is powered on and not just on 'find me'<<this didn't work)
5. now i accept the file on my phone and install.
all successfull

Ok guys, when you do this you must (Cable Unplugged until step 2):
(To check phones com port # goto Device Manager) (XP USERS) Right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware (Tab)>Device Manager>Modems>Right Click Motorola USB Modem>Modem(Tab) And right this number down for further use.)
Ok make sure you've configured MIDway correctly:
1) Before plugging in the phone open MIDway
2) Prompt comes up saying: (Cannot Open Serial Port! Would you like to change MIDway settings?) Hit yes
3) Set the com port to the port that the phones set to. (Use the number you wrote down earlier)
4) Set the AT Command to AT
Now configuration is complete. Move onto the next set of instructions Before Hitting OK on the MIDway settings.
1) Menu>Settings>Java Settings>Java App Loader
2) When it says JAL Link Active plug in the cable
3) Hit OK on the settings window after the phones plugged in
4) Open JAD
5) Send JAD
6) Accept on phones end and allow it to download and install
Now you should be finished and the game should be installed.

Ok, after you get your port number and open up MIDway and set the config, ensure that you put the port number into MIDway config too...thats the most important part, then Activate JAL link inside the phone (Menu>Settings>Java Settings>Java App Loader then plug in the phone, wait a second then hit OK on the MIDway config, then continue with uploading the jad.

Hi !
I just tried something very simple with V600.
- Created JAD+JAR with WTK or Eclipse
- Right click on JAR file and Send To -> Bluetooth peripheral
- Mobile should ask for accepting the download after bluetooth attachment
- Download occurs and installation is performed
Make sure your application uses CLDC 1.0 !
Hope this helps.
