How do you transfer them?
Just beaming them over via IrDA / Bluetooth?
If yes, it will be save in the phones memory, not on the MMC.
You'll need to use PC Suite to access the MMC to transfer stuff on it. And don't forget to give the card a name.

The phones memory can't be physically increased.
Only by deleting stuff you can increase it. But the newest firmware did decrease it alot.
You should use PC Suite to transfer stuff. This way you can access the MMC.
