I get calls all the time saying I've won a free cruise but I have to "donate" at least $500 to get it. I stopped answering, but now I get like 7 voicemails a day.rather annoying. I get these other calls from a business school I applied for; I already talked to them, told them because they do not offer financial aid, I was no longer interested, but they keep insisting.

At work I've been getting a lot of computer calls about my expiring car warranty. The car was made in 1996, I'm sure the warranty expired long ago.

I got an answering machine & 1 phone in the house, phone's in the kitchen wall with the ringer off. Only reason I got phone line is for my dsl line & thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a landline phone in the house for emergency purpose. I give out cell. # to all the important people & my home # for everyone else. I get about 15 - 20 telemarketing calls a day. I'm thinking about getting rid of my answering machine at home all together.

I get some annoying phone calls to from telemarketers from all the way across the map - India!
I just love how they speak and imitate them.

Speaking of annoying unsolicited calls, how about the annoying Trane and HSBC ads that keeping popping up will on the forums here?

I get stupid phone calls from telemarketers everyday when I am at work.
It's always on voicemail - pre-recorded messages.
Pisses me off.

I got the magazine one again the other day, you know "We are contacting people at their place of business to . . ." click. I'm at WORK, means I have a JOB, that needs to get done. Talking on the phone is not helping me do my job, so yes, I will hang up. I don't mean to be rude, but contacting someone at their job is also rude, doing it intentionally is extra rude.

I got a cell phone so companies would STOP calling me but instead I get more now. Is there a number i can call? Not sure if that works though as I tried long ago but they seemed to call more after I got put on the list.
