Hi. I have 2 questions:

1. I´m using EasyGPRS soft on a Samsung E316. I can download pictures but I cannot upload or delete them. Is this normal ?

2. How can I delete java applications I don´t want or change default images on the phone like the 4 default images for the little outside screen?

Thanx

... What?! You can download pictures but you cannot upload or delete them... What do you mean by that?

Do you mean that you can download pictures from the computer onto your phone? Where it goes to your funbox > images ? Is that what you mean? But you cannot upload pictures such as your photos or delete your photos? Huh? O_o" You can upload photos by doing this: FILE MANAGER > MY PHOTOS and just click the down arrow picture thing and it will download the image from your phone to a selected location.

As for java applications.. do you mean java games? I don't know of any other java applications, but hey I mainly only use my phone to call, take pictures, play games, and look at the time lol.

The 4 default images will ALWAYS be there, since it's permanent and set for your external display. I heard it's possible to change it. I doubt those pictures would be deleted.. Unless you reset your settings or something, which I've never done.

1. just to clarify - you can download pics you took with camera but cannot upload back to camera right? just wondeirng cuz i think any pics you upload will be under 'funbox' > 'images' and not under 'my photos'. that's the case with my e715. i have been able to delete them too, i did it thru the app since the phone only allows deleting one at a time.

2. you can only delete java apps that you have previous uploaded. you cannot delete the standard java apps. that also applies to standard pics and ringers on your phone. now assuming that your phone menu is the same as mine. if you are deleting java apps you loaded, go to 'funbox' > 'games' and select and delete.

hope that helps...

^ That is very similar to the SGH E316. My dad has an e715 so yea I've seen it. You're correct, you cannot upload pictures onto your phone and have it under "photos." It only goes to funbox > images. :/

Yes, that´s my problem. You´re right... I left my brain at home icon_blink.gif ... you know... in Argentina everything can be stole...

Ok, I can download my photos, but, in the same menu (which shows an upload arrow) I cannot upload them.

As sakaze said, I can upload photos to 'funbox' > 'images' but it is not that I really need... I need a real file manager. Also I cannot download videos...

When I talk about java applications, I mean games or applications, because there´re a few programs in java U can upload.

So, as I see it, what I realli need is a little of modding. icon_shifty.gif

Thanx a lot to both of you. icon_grin.gif

you're welcome.

i understand now...i'll check around here and the other forums and see what i can find. i like the idea of being able to download videos. i just flashed my e715 to telcel e710 firmware and got video recording on my e715. but cannot download...bummer.

in case anyone is wondering about the flash, the phone works great...a little better reception. had to find and use imei changer after flash but works like a champ.
