Thanks! (haha...I like how you showed me where the F6 button was!)
Ok...so now it's initializing....and it's taking a VERY VERY long time. Something doesnt seem right. From time to time it shows an icon that reads "mobile not detected".
Am I doing something wrong? Am I using the wrong UBS cable? I'm just using one that fits into both my nokia camera and my V220. ??
by the way...you guys rock.

Him its been a while since this thread, but it is the same problem , and the resolution wasn't included here.
I have a V300 here in the UK and I have just installed MPT and I can hear and see the things I want, but the infernal "Unsupported format - no conersion possible" is ever-present.
What can i do to rectify this - all I want to do really is put some cool games on like Tetris and Pacman etc, and a few ringtones.
Thanks
Alan

Read ALL the instructions before you do anything! I take no responsibility for you messing up your computer.
1) Open/Run Regedit
2) Backup your registry now, or forever hold your peace.
3) Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32
4) Locate the key called msacm.l3acm => On your system, the key's value probably is l3codecx.acm. This is the DECODE ONLY verion.
5) Double-click the key and change it to either:
- the ADVANCED %systemroot%\system32\l3codeca.acm
- or the PROFESSIONAL %systemroot%\system32\l3codecp.acm[/list]
NOTE: the version "a" or "p" that you use will depend on your particular system. My laptop and desktop at home use "a" (both XP Pro SP2) but my work system uses "p" (also XP Pro SP2).
6) Go to the device manger (right-click My Computer, select Manage, click Device Manager in the tree on the left).
- On the right, go down to Sound, Video and Game Controllers
- expand it, double-click on Audio Codecs
- click the Properties tab and find the Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec, and you should see either (advanced) or (professional)... If you looked before doing this, it will either not be listed, or say (decode only).
