Well...as I can see and as I know a friend of mine got the same problem and that appear because he charge the phone with a diferent charger not at 3.7v as the battery and phone request. He solved the problem by flashing the phone and ofcourse he lossed all the data...but the phone worked back ON. Try this if you know anyone who can flash you phone and install back the software. Thats all I can advice..NEVER CHARGE A PHONE WITH DIFERENT CHARGER.- this I have learned from my friend. Now I own 6600 and 6630 and never had problems since I charge them just with their own charger.
Bye.

Switching the chargers is no problem with Nokia.
I used a charger of an old 5510 to charge my old 6600 when I was visiting a friend for some days and forgotten mine. Nothing happend.
This happens to some phones due to full memory or other memory problems.
Well, a loss of data may not be prevented.
You should try formating it. How is explained in the Most common problems thread at the top of this forum.

Formating mean to flash it and re-soft it back. This can be done just by data cable I think. Try go visit a mobile store and ask.

Formating is not flashing!
It's kind of flashing, but not what you mean.
When the phone formats itself, it loads a complete fresh system from its ROM.
Did you tried it? I meant:

For Symbian OS 7 (6260/6600/6620/6670/7610) there is a third method:
Turn phone off, press and hold the green (talk) key on the left + number 3 on the keypad + the * key and then turn the phone back on.

That doesn't work, the phone shows the NOKIA words, then fades out, then dies. It does this 3 times, then gives up!
