Hiyas,

Question as above ;) I've read conflicting accounts here and there; some say only mmf, some both.

I don't have a Samsung to test this out myself. A definitive answer will be most appreciated :)

Phones have changed a lot recently. We will stick with only polyphonic for this, though. Most low end models play midi only or midi and mmf. As you move up, they begin to add other formats like mp3 and voice tones, but often then don't play midi anymore. If you have a specific model in mind, post it here and I can tell you. Otherwise, there is no one definate answer.

.. Does the Samsung SGH-E315 play midi and/or mp3 files? :whistling: Most likely not since my phone has very little memory/space. :pinch:

I see. Thank you for your replies. I'm thinking Samsung in general, so no specific model in mind.

Are .mmf songs considered midi files too?
