ok i got my 3rd v551 yesterday (battery problems) and i'm ready to try my MPT's out. I have the latest versions and i just downloaded the usb driver. I went to access MPT's and got this message, "The procedure entry pont_LocalFileTimeToFileTimeEx@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library CalEngine.dll" What does this mean and how do i get by it?????Please>>????

Waht verson of MPT do you have and MPT will not solve your battery problem

i know mpt's won't solve my battery problem. I have the newest edition, i'm not sure the number (3 point something) and i can't access it to tell you the exact number. Whats going on?

i would re~install mPT without the cable plugged in and making sure you choose the drivers from Mpt FOLDER (NOT WINDOWS).
have you run a live update yet? if you haven't done so, you don't have latest as it doesn't come on a disc.

ok i got the mpt's to work by reinstalling it, but how do i use the discs i got (full of ringtones, videos, games, wallpapers) to my phone. I tried double clicking them notepad pops up with a bunch of symbols?

Hey guys, i transferred some songs to my phone, but there under "sounds" how do i get them as my ringtones? They are real one tones (not mp3). I can get the mid as my ringtone b/c they go directly to "tones". Any suggestions?

In the sounds menu .... highlight the mp3 you want as ringtone, press the menu button, then apply as ringtone .........  that simple. Or if you choose to use you can open phonebook, menu button, edit, scroll down to ringer id, then choose the ringer you would like to set as your ringtone.
It doesn't matter if they're midi's or mp3's you can use them as your ringtone or choose different ones for different people...........

the real tones i transferred (with voices) won't allow me to apply as ringtone. The other poly tones i transferred it has that option, but these other ones don't have that option after i press the menu button. The other ones are also under "style" and not just under "sounds". What can i do.??
Also how do i use the mpt's to slow a song down, for example i have some songs on this cd and they play do damn fast, i tried using the slider bar but there still to fast, any suggestions???
I appreciate anyones help in advance.

what file extention are they....
if they are in a zip or rar file you'll need to empty them into a folder.
