I just use Bluetooth. I set up a "file transfer" between the two, and I find the file in the phone with the pictures, and just drag them to my desktop. It just copies them. Vice versa to add pictures to the phone for wallpapers or whatever.
Also works with mp3s for ringtones.

You can transfer pics. from your phone wireless by using a usb bluetooth adapter. Most usb bluetooth adapters come with software that you can start transferring files right away like the one I use called 'Macally bt sync usb bluetooth adapter'. It has the latest drivers for all windows from win98 to server2003. Once I installed the software I opened my V551 phone, went to settings, connections, bluetooth link, went to setup, set power on, sent the phone signal with the 'find me' line above power on, and the software caught the signal and reviewed everything about your type of phone and you're ready to start transfering videos, music, and pics. to & from your pc.
Now you also can transfer your pics from your phone to pc simply by e-mail. but the time using your phone e-mail and the amount of kilobytes transfered can go pass your free limit according to your phone plan and cost extra. Befor I got the usb adapter I used this method and had to pay as much as $35.00 extra (the adapter only cost $2 more). If you are going to take a lot of pics. with your phone, which i do because it's so convenient, it's better to invest in a usb bluetooth adapter, and transfer all you want for free.

As long as your computer has BT it is pretty easy. Open phone. Tap MENU key. Got to mymedia and tap SELECT. Highlight PICTURES and tap VIEW. WHen picture comes up, tap MENU key. Scroll thru options. You have 2 choices. COPY will put picture on computer and leave it on your phone. MOVE will take picture off phone and put it on computer, it will no longer be on your phone. Scroll to COPY or MOVE and tap SELECT. If you haven't set up a link between PC and phone, scroll to [Look for devices]. Before you do this, make sure computer BT is ON. When phone finds computer, select it and file should copy or move automatically.

You can get a Bluetooth dongle for like 20 bucks at newegg. You don't need Moblie Phone tools if your just going to transfer pics and ringtones back and forth from your phone to your PC. The cable is only good for one thing, but the BT dongle can be used for more than just the phone. Better value in my opinion.
