I have a sony ericsson z500a phone, and bought a dcu-11 cable to transfer wallpapers, games, and ringtones i have on my computer... but my software only lets me copy my contacts on to the computer.
Can anybody give me some software that works.
(The CD that came with my product is made by Susteen Inc.)
I have the same phone and problem. I gave up and am trying the new dss-25. Here's the INFO . They are cheaper on EBAY .

as most people are complaining, i've looked inside the phone and was shocked to see that the inner pins to sync with a pc had stuf on them! i picked it off with a knife and it syncs fine! to get to the inner pins, you need a torx 6 screwdriver. hope this helps!

I have a similar cable that I got off ebay and it came with a driver as well as float's software. i don't know what the problem is but the floats agent can't connect it says device not found. any advice?

i got a problem too, when i try to sync it says something like make sure that phone and pc are conencted. tried everything, can anyone help plz

by the looks of this post, it seems like the dcu-11 doesnt work. and i just bought the mother f'er off ebay. anyone want to help?

hi guys, wondered if you could help me with a problem with the dcu-11 cable.
I have an ericsson s700i and im trying to download the pics on to my pc. Sony's sofware recognise the phone but gives me no option to download the pics. I have since installed FMA which allows me to view all the folders and find the pictures but not download them. However if i connect the cable to my T630 it allows downloads fine.
Any ideas?

You have to install the drivers that came with the DCU-11 cable then use floAt's mobile agent to connect to the phone. You might have to explore the CD to find the driver to install it.
