Ok guys. My friend gave me a 1100b made for cingular. I got it and used the cyberGSM to unlock it. The thing is, it (probally) is stolen. If I put my sim in (t-mo) it, would it regester back to cingular and report it as stolen?

Let me get this straight... Your "friend" sold or gave you a stolen phone? Yes, its possible the previous owner reported the IMEI stolen, and yes, they can track that...
My question is, with phones being as cheap as they are (to say nothing of the illegality of it)- why risk it?

if your phone works the IMEI is not on the stolen list... if it doesnt... well we know why

There is two way to do this.
You can Flash and Flex to unlock and unbrand it, will loose a little vibrant in color thought but reception is stronger, aet up battery little.
Or send it to me i unlock it with out any change to the fone
