went through the fiasco. When all was said and done it was Tech support that told Customer care to give me a new phone (Nokia 6030). They kept trying to make me do it through warranty dept but since my phone was >1 year old I was going to have to pay $115. I told them that was unacceptable because I felt this was not a warranty issue and had them send me back to tech support. I think there is a timer that they keep you on and if you stick with it for 45 min. then they give up. Seems that way. My rec is to go to a cingular store and call directly from there as it seems I did very little holding. Good luck.
