I got my Nokia 6610 a week before.Got my IR port for the PC today.Can anyone help me out with how it should be used for transferring files to my 6610?

You've got to use PC Suite (or alternatively MobiMB or Oxygen Phonemanager).
You can't send stuff directly to the phone.

I hav already installed PC suite.I don't know how to proceed.I have the IR port ready and hav enabled the IR on my mobile too.I don't know how to go about using the software.

My IR is Edisonsoft ES-620 USB infrared and its set at 9600 bps.My phone is quite close to the port too.So how do i proceed with the software now?

The Nokia Connection Manager shows 6610.But when i click "apply" it says IrAPI failed or some error of that kind.Sometimes it just does'nt respond.

i have nokia 6630 but it missing Infrared thats why i cant use tv remote so what should i do ?

No infrared, no remote.


Or, instead of nothing: get another phone if you want is so badly.
