You need USB data cable.
PST 6.7 (Phone Service Tool) to enable you java uploader function that had been hiden i your fone. You'll see it under java seting after enabled.
Midway 2.8-- This to transfer Jad game file to you fone.
JadMaker this to convert game in Jar file to Jad file cause you fone use jad file

If I use the OBEX push method in bluetooth, do I still need to use PST to unlock the java object loader?

Also, on the V551, does the file have to be .jar or .jad? I Think oldfool mentioned both.

Thanks

You don't need to enable java uploader if you use BT, OBEX just drop jar file in there and push it thru

I installed 2 games that did not install. I probably had the wrong one for the phone because the 3rd try succeeded. My question is, if the game does not install, is it still in memory? If so how do I delete it because it does not show in the games menu?

You should use MIDway V.2.8 if thats still the most recent. I have a guide on how to use with the cable, and i think that the BT way is the same? But check it out at www.webhosting4free.org/rewcons and see if it helps any.

"They are basic and are based on you already installing Bluetooth dongle and being able to confirm that the connection is there between phone and pc as I hope you have successfully sent ringtones/mp3 and photos to your phone from your desktop.

Here goes.
You should have an icon in the status bar of the PC next to the time. DOUBLE CLICK IT. You should see "Motorola phone OBEX object push" this is not normally the obex file you drag and drop the games into. Once you are they anyway on the left-hand side of your screen should be some options, one of these should be "View devices in range" CLICK IT. If you have previously set up the Bluetooth correctly then it should show your phone in range. You would need to make sure that the phone has Bluetooth powered on.
CLICK ONCE on the icon of the phone and on the left you should see some more options and one which says "discover services" CLICK IT.
This will then bring up another set of icons which you think you have already seen, but here is where you drag & drop your .jar files into the "OBEX OBJECT PUSH ON MOTOROLA PHONE" and then it will attempt to connect to the phone and install the games. "

I tried this and teh OBEX Object Push option does it not come up after following all the steps. The one you said is not the one you should be dragging games into does appear though. What should i do?

I just recently brought a Motorola phone that has Bluetooth. I'm unsure on how it works. How do I bluetooth? How do I send games, ringtones, graphics to my phone using bluetooth? Or do I need a cable to do this? What is the cable for? And how do I use the cable? Thanks for the help icon_rolleyes.gif
