and finally, off subject, does anyone know of red motorola phone?
Thanks again! |
The only red motorola phone that i've seen so far is the v500. Check on google or sth like that for pictures (cause i can't upload them, sorry).
I hope that answers that question.

To help you with the skins, I had the same problem. All you have to do is press master reset I believe. This will just make the phone setups the same way as when u first got it. It will not erase unless u make a mistake and press master clear(don't do that).

I know this forum is quite old but the reason why the skins are not working correct is because it takes times for the skin to apply itself to the software of the phone and if you take the battery out it will not apply, kinda like windows xp, if you do some stuff that changed the look and then you restart incorrectly it will not save your settings, so basically when you apply a new skin, after it applys itself it saves that and if it restarts afterwards it does not have time to save.

If anyone has fixed this problem, what did you do? And was it a software problem or just that phone? Thank you.

It's a software verson, so you can either Flash it with the new frimware that will make it faster better battery life or you can flex it with the better flex would give you more function, more space, smoother video recorder...

Wow, flash/flexing once again is catching my appeal. Once my warranty is up that phones getting a major makeover Haha, in the mean time I gotta research my flash/flex's so I choose the most convenient one for me, and you guys can help by giving me opinions and telling me what it gives and what it takes away.

Thank you for your reply, can you recommend a flex/flash to fix the phone blanking out when i try to change skins? Does the real motorola flash that came out in April for v551 fix this? I need one that won't lock my phone because I bought it unlocked and don't have the code. If not I'll go to the Motorola Tech on Monday that has the newest flash and see if that works because they can unlock my phone again if anything gets messed up.
