Is there a way to get t mobile to work with the telcel firmware??? i already switched the band to 1900 and all i get is cingular and i dont kno if i have free roameing.... i tried to manually select the network but it only has cingular and at&t??? am i missing something??

im in san diego... ya with the dc5 firm i get t mobile just fine but everytime i flash that telcel firm i only get cingular and att... weird guess its just me then...

i also flashed my e715 with telcel firmware and worked immediately. i changed to 1900 and t-mo was one of my selections. not sure if this makes a difference but i manually searched for providers.

i am having the same problems, i switched the baud rate, selected tmobile, and manually searched, but it says no service.

the only thing i can think of is that cingular may have a stronger signal in your area. t-mobile probably has a weak signal or might not have signal. i would say go to an area where you can get t-mobile to come up and then set it. it's inconvenient but that's all i can think of.

Im a Telcel user, so I got Telcel firmware, but whenever I'm just beyond the border in san Diego It automatically switches to Cingular or AT&T, Telcel signal ends at the border, try coming to Tijuana to see if it switches to telcel, if it does, party and get drunk!!!, if not, regret it and get drunk!!,
and dont forget to get your picture riding a zebra-painted-donkey and use it as a screen saver.....
If it doesn't work try using a Telcel SIM card, they are quite unexpensive...

Mine says CIngular when I select 1900, not T-Mobile. Any ideas?
