No problem glad we could help you out...also I too believe the V551 is better and the V600 is ok but I guess it depends on the user.

With the V600 I always felt like I had to be real careful. With all the reviews about getting chips in the faceplate. In the end, I wasn't careful at all, dropping it in water. I think the V551 is a little faster. That V600 took forever to access funtions. It was easier to press the numbers than to go to the address book. The only thing I don't like about the V551 is the silver on the front of the phone. It looks a little cheesy.
I paid a little more than I had to for it because I was in a hurry and I need it then. I paid $99 at a Cingular store, I could have got it for $69 if I wanted to activate the bundle it came with. I don't need that stuff. If I want to contact someone I dont have to I.M. them. I have M.P.T. so I can do my ring tones and outlook etc.
All's well that end's well.

Yep, it went to the bottom of the deep end and I was in a suit at a wedding reception. Had to fish it out and it took a few minutes to get the net and etc. Knowing not to turn it back on, I let it dry out for a few days and even blew dry it with some cool air, with the battery out of the case. When I finally turned it on it was good as new and I still have it a year later, no problems at all.

Well if any situation is handled correctly the outcome is usually positive. Well if anything motorola is in partial responsibility for not stating what to do when the phone is exposed to water...
