Neither here... Foma seems to make sweet Symbian OS phones too... but never releases them here... even on eBay I can't get one.
The real player as music player? Than I'm done with the phone... the music player of the SX1 is still sweet and comfortable (as soon as you know how it works )

yea, the music player suxx.
Got a real scare yesterday when a friend who uses the 3230 told me that it supports only dv-rsmmc, coz he was unable to format a regular 512mb rsmmc in his phone.
Later he confirmed that it was the mmc which had a problem and that 512mb rsmmcs worked fine in it.

Well, its time to cry. The mmc now deosnt work. IT formats fine, but after a few mins, he gets a message saying memory card corrupted. And there's nothing wron with the card. Its working fine in a 7610.
Also, i tried putting a dv-rsmmc in my phone and it worked fine.
So i guess its confirmed, the 3230 uses only dv-rsmmcs.

Well, on mobymemory.com the 3230 is listed for the RS-DV-MMCs but not for the normal ones.
But they also say that RS-DV-MMCs do work in all other phones as well...

Yea, i know. The dv-rsmmcs will work in all phones, but normal rsmmcs dont work in the dv rsmmc compatible phones.

Well, i've activated gprs and i can only say this: Its FASTTTT.
The radio has good sound quality. The volume doesnt seem all that low anymore, now that i've gotten used to it.
The mp3 player, which is mono, suxx!!! (obviously)

well just played with the n3230 tht my boss pass to me and i found tht the mp3 is a bit let-down coz it's a mono..
even when u put a true tones as ringtones the ringtones is a bit soft.. and the sound is not that nice
coz i compare using a same wav and mp3 sound using n6670
so.. i guess it's a gr8 phones if u can live without mp3.........

Yea, ur right there. But the mp3 dept is the only one in which i feel that the phone lacks. The phone has a stable os, an awesome screen (brighter and crisper than a 6600,7610 and 6630 screen) and its the only Symbian 7 phone right now that has EDGE, MP cam and FM Radio all in one.

Got a 256mb rsmmc. Works alrite now (i've formatted it twice already).
The phone surprisingly cant format a 256mb rsmmc. The mmc will work fine if its formatted in any other S60 phone.
