Hi guys i want mp3 ringtones in my nokia 6600. Is it possible Or do I have to use a 3rd party software ? Help me out.

You can't use mp3s as ringtone.
But you can use wav-files. Encoded correctly they are even smaller than a mp3.
PC Suite can do it automatically while transfering the file.

Thanx for the reply. But, will the file go to gallery ? I mean can I use it as a ringtone ?

With PC Suite you can put it whereever you want it to be.

Like Bjoern said, the size depends on the encoding.

PC Suite uses IMA ADPCM codec to encode the wav-files.
All Symbian OS phones do support this codec.
It also can be done with every sound editor which lets you choose the codec for wav-files when saving (like Goldwave, which I use)
