I've got one but can't tell if it is worth upgrading because I never had a 6230 before.
If I remember I bought this one because of more pixels on the display and in the camera. But I have been playing a little bit with the camera at the beginning and never since. I have a 1GB MMC and I mainly use the MP3 player. I cross my fingers and it's working fine.
One bug though about the ascending tone problem:

But this is a problem with the 6230 too.
One reproach: the quality of the video clips is so poor I don't know what to do with it.
Another one: I was banking on the good resolution of the screen to display the picture of my callers so that I don't need my glass to see who is there. Unfortunately the picture occupies only a small fraction of the screen and bottom line I need my glass anyway to recognize the caller.
And while I'm in the mood this one too:
I'm using a card reader for my MMC. The problem is the back cover of this phone is a real pain in the neck to unclip. Each time I'm always afraid to break it.

I'm using a card reader but it could be better with a cable.
To me the question is not to know if Mac is friendly or not. I really don't care about a soft to transfer the data to my phone. I just need a cable. The real question is why NOKIA doesn't provide a cable like USB2 that allows to see the MMC inside the phone from ANY computer.

That's an easy one: the market is too small.
I've read about people, who connected their phone to the mac via cable, the Mac could see the MMC but they couldn't write, only read.
Motorola has excellent support on Macs, maybe a exclusive deal? I don't know.
