For some reason, the battery doesn't last throughout the day for me... without talking on it once.
The phone's light was green this morning so it was fully charged, and it just shut off becuase the battery went dead.
It may be becuase it was looking for a signal all day, becuase the signal goes in and out when I'm inside...
Any tips on how to extend battery life?

yeah, i've noticed the battery in my a670 doesn't last very long either. so, i went on ebay and bought a new one. 1400mha instead of 1100mha, a decent increase. brand new in shrink wrap, bought it for $1...which of course came out to $9 shipped haha. there are also other batteries out there for the a670, like one i saw today that holds 1700mha which i will very soon be purchasing, although the website it was at listed it for $50...i'll get it for $10 on ebay.
note: extended batteries will not allow for the phone to be used in the leather pouch or the car hands free holder thingie. my battery looks real bulky, i wonder how big the 1700mha battery is.

yep, just got it a little over 2 weeks ago
afyouthbrigade, thanks for the suggestion. does the phone look ok with the different battery? is it as "sleek" as the battery currently on there or does it bulge out? (i'm guessing the latter since it won't fit in the leather holder with it)

take it to your verizon store and ask them if your software is up to date. If you know how to check it yourself, i believe the newest version is going to be A670.XJ06. Constantly searching for signal can play a role in battery drain, as its having to use more juice while searching, but it shouldnt drain the battery in an afternoon. If your software is up to date, and you just got it 2 weeks ago like you said, have them warranty the battery.
