My girlfriend has it so I wanted it because I got my phone to text A LOT! Well I went to go get a Verizon phone and asked for UNLIMITED TEXT MESSAGING, which they never stated they never had. So I got the phone thinking I did have it and I sent 3000 txt msgs in less then a month. The bill came out to US$160 for text while like 60 for the phone. I found out they gave me 500 txt msgs for 5 bux with the unlimited internet for another 5 total to US$10 Dollars. So would there be anyway to fight this? Oh and my GF called verizon today and they said they dont sell the service no more but they have 300, 500 and 1000 txt messaging plans. But the people that had unlimited stay with it. My mom can argue pretty good but ANY TIPS?

Im really broke right now due to paying off my phone and im going to driving school and I payed $220 for the class so im dead broke. Please tell me theres hope.

It is tuff to dispute this. I had a similar issue with Cingular awhile back and they won't credit me $10 for a miss understanding service.

did you have to put a deposit down to get your phone? If you did, and you make a payment late, you can kiss that deposit money good-bye.

You can call financial services, and try to work a deal out with them. Explain to them the situation and as long as you show you are attempting to pay it off, and your nice about it and not screaming and yelling at them, they will help you out.

In my opinion and experiences, I've found that Verizon likes to confuse you and make you believe you're in the wrong when they are. I had an extra $600+ added to my bill this month because their representative told me incorrect info (which they admitted to) and they were trying to tell me they wouldn't take it off! If you argue that you said you wanted umlimited they should have at least told you there wasn't that option (unless you're txting vzw customers). Plus the packages are (as of March 1, 2007) 500, 1500, or 5000. Also as of the 15th of April it looks like with select family choice plans you can get unlimited.

I'm not sure how much that helped you but I think some points I made should. Good Luck!

Now the plans are unlimited. For an extra dub on a single line and dub point five on family shares. And yes, the family shares unlimited messaging. Hallelujah
