I have a Nextel i880, data cable, and downloaded software from Motorola site. Drivers included. When I try to sync, MPT states the phone is not conncected. Does MPT work with the i880?

I don't think MPT does work with iDen phones, sorry.
However I think Motorola offer some FREE software for iDen phones, check their website.
