Hi i have a nokia 7610 and recently i have noticed a problem causing my battery to go flat very quickly.
it is to do with the loud speaker, normally when the phone is unused but on (in standby mode) the loudspeaker is off and the phone is silent
but now on my phone after using the phone to view videos and loudspeaker calls (not sure which of these causes the problem)
my loudspeaker outputs a quiet hiss sound basically silent white noise if you understand my meaning, this is a constant sound that you cant really hear unless you put the loudspeaker to your ear.
it causes the battery to go flat within a day when the phone hasnt been used at all!
the only way to stop this is to switch the phone on and off,
is this a common problem ? i couldn find anyhing on it when i did a search
my firmware version is v4.0437.4 15-09-04 rh-51 i assume this is the latest version ?

Could it be you've got any applications installed which are running permanently in the background? (like fullscreen caller)

i dont belive i do, i did think about this, ive installed a few games and one photo application, but i dont think i have anything that needs to run permanantly.
in the app manager here is what i have installed

U can check if its a hardware issue or not. Backup all the phone contents to the pc and then format the phone. Then, before installing any app, try calling and see if the same problem occurs. If it does, its possibly a hardware problem.

How to run APP which is instaled on my 7610?It`s in my APP manager but i can`t run them.My phone is trying to connect to internet.Ican only see their details.They are java games so they don`t have to try to connect internet. Please help me!
