Hi
I have Airtel (india) Wap connection ,not full internet connection.
So can i send pic to some email id via wap.
I have done all stuff getting Server not Found error all time.
At some sites its written we need full internet access.
Or if any wap site we can send attachements????
My handset in Sony Ericsson K500i.
So not sure if anyone has done it please let me know and how???

when you go to a site it detects your phone and if they dont have a wap page you will get page not found error...that is quite normal
to send a pic to an email address you first must have an email account with airtel... if you do... send the pic as an attachment

Hi
Airtel doesnot provide any email accounts.
Instaed i have used some free mail servers
like
mymail.ro
Still its not working...any other ideas

ok... are you able to send and recieve mail from that account... test it send mail from your home computer to that account to see if your phone will recieve it

yeah i can sedn email to any other email account
but i need to send attachement ,picture from my cell to other mail account

Hello!
If you want to send a picture as attachment, your built-in email client from your mobile should support attachments. If so then you can use any one of your pop3 mail providers (http://www.mymail.ro or http://www.wappymail.com or http://www.gmail.com, there are a lot of free pop3 providers)- they must allow you to send emails with attachments through them.
