I was wondering if anyone else noticed that their LED in the T610 was not directly in the center of the T610 joystick, but in the top right corner of the joystick.. icon_cry.gif .Is this normal icon_question.gif Also, is there a setting to make the keys and LED and Screen Flash during a call icon_question.gif Thanks everyone! icon_biggrin.gif

Also, can you Flash the T610 using a Bluetooth Dongle? Thanks for your help!

Yeah, I've also noticed the "misplaced" LED on my T610. I suppose the placement is designed that way, even though I think it's a little flaw. On the other hand, it is supposed to be on only during charging for what I know, so I think I can live with that... icon_cool.gif

Check out this site: www. myt610 .com (remove spaces in adress)
and click on My Poly rings
There you can find a ringtone that flashes the LED. Appearently without sound...? (Haven't tried it myself.)

I don't think you can flash your t610 through Bluetooth, the only way is to go to your servicecenter. But it would be nice if it was possible. Anyone knows?

yes mine is misplaced as well
and there actually is a ringing tone that vibrates and flash
just as MH said
i think the file type is *.imy

n to flash or upgrade firmware u would need a contact physic and most importantly i think it should be done when the mobile is turned off
so no for bluetooth or infrared, yes for data cable

about the "led in a ringtone" thing. it is an .imy file. on the T300 theres a ringtone that uses it. it's called "funky" and if you make ringtones on the T300 you can make the led blink when you want during the ring. you can also make the screen blink on and off and make it vibrate on and off.

i just hope SE realizes lots of people are having this problem n start supporting their mobile internationally especially updated firmware is necessary to make the mobile better

@adeok: have you check how much it cost for the upgrade?

I bought my T610 in France and had it upgraded here in Vietnam.
Of course, they didn't do it for free and of course I had to settle with a localized version (Viet, Thai, etc language instead of French, Spanish, etc) but all version have english so fine for me.
But I thought the cost was reasonnable (around US$13) and they even give a little cleaning. So all in all not so bad.

I agree though that the warranty should be international especially with a 3-band phone (aka World phone) just like it is with the laptops.
On the other hand, I think it's good also that they accept to service your phone anywhere and whereever it comes from. Not so many companies accept that.

i havent checked how much it will cost in here
i went to Sony shop yesterday but they only gave me a sony ericsson customer service number, they say that they have nothing to do with sony ericsson products although i saw clearly that they have P800 and T68ie etc on display
did u upgrade on SE official shop or just a regular mobile shop?
i might try to go to local mobile shop i'll let u know when i had checked
